Open the book to the first chapter. Here you will be greeted by Count Guy Tyrel de Poix himself. He is the one who turned the dream into reality. Being a great lover of wine and life, he left his mark on everyone by instilling his passion for the revival of Romanian varieties.

WINE CHOSE US

Wine is a special art that combines in complete harmony the visual, the olfactory, the taste, the emotion and the bold thought. Discover its secrets step by step, understanding its beginnings. Find out how, more than 25 years ago, the French count Guy TYREL de POIX, the one who started the SERVE story, fell in love with Romanian wine after tasting a glass of Fetească Neagră. The experience accumulated within the family allowed him to begin this beautiful journey on the road of the vine.

In your reading, you will also meet the person who contributed from the beginning, through pragmatism and dedication, to the implementation of the ideas and dreams related to the development of SERVE. Mihaela Tyrel de Poix, CEO and Guy’s wife, is the one who started SERVE with Guy, carried and still carries forward the count’s love for wine, revealing it glass by glass.

“What I like most is building. I entered the world of wine in 1993. At first, being an engineer by profession, I was more involved in the organization and administration of the company, making sure that things “happened” as Guy imagined. Over time, learning about the art of creating wines, I came to identify with this fascinating world and now, together with my team, I continue our story.”

OUR WINES

What is born of passion, is conquered with ardor. A moment in 1993.

The youngest range, the one that started our story, is Vinul Cavalerului. Then came the launch of the Red & White Milenium blends on the market (1999 and 2001). The wines in the Cuvée Range stand out for their complex, full-bodied flavors that capture the personality of the family members to whom they are dedicated. In 2005, the Terra Romana brand followed, made up of wines carefully selected to satisfy all preferences and composed like an ode dedicated to the Romanian terroir. Our story continues, enjoying the company of the passion we have for these divine nectars.

Cuvée

Discover the range

Exclusive wines in limited editions with individually numbered bottles. The fruit of oenological experience since 1994 and of the symbiosis of the vineyard with the environment in which it grows and develops and with the people who care for it. Complex blends, both classic and novel. Matured in barrels between 3 and 18 months, and then in bottle between 6 months and 5 years. The range contains 10 wines dedicated to the founders' family members.

Terra Romana

Terra Romana is the expression of terroirs. They are wines representative of the SERVE Winery identity — clean, expressive, well-structured and built to accompany the table and conversation. Each label reflects the character of the land and the maturity of a winery that contributed to the rebirth of modern Romanian wine. Terra Romana is about assumed roots, about tradition carried forward with rigor and about wines that offer confidence, from the first tasting to the last glass.

The first SERVE wine range: the beginning of modern viticulture in Romania. A collection of wines focused on the typical characteristics of the varieties, combining the typical environmental conditions of Dealu Mare with the refinement and experience of winemakers from France, where we did our apprenticeship. The range contains 9 wines.
